The base for password strength is the letters a-z (only small letters) the next level includes case sensitive letters - a-z + A-Z the third level adds numbers (0-9) and the forth adds some spacial characters like !, @, # etc. Stronger is Better
The more characters the password contains makes it harder to guess. An 8 characters case sensitive with numbers and spacial signs will take 46 days to crack. Another char (9 total) will increase the time taken to about 10 years. Longer is Better
